No, we are not about bidding. If you see an item you want to buy, simply contact the buyer to arrange for the purchase of the item.
Ads become active immediately and only take a few moments to post.
You can have 5 "For Sale" or active postings. However, you can have an unlimited number of "On Hold" items.
There are only 5 allowable active or "For Sale" ads at any one time. You may, however, have an unlimited number of "On Hold" items. As your "For Sale" items are sold you can pull from you "On Hold" list of items to maximize your 5 allowable active ads.
Postings are active for approximately 2 weeks. After such time, item status changes from "For Sale" to "On Hold". However, you go back and change the status back to "For Sale". This is done to ensure that items for sale on SoldByMoms.com do not become stagnant.
Select "Miscellaneous" under the category that most closely fits your item. Please email us with your example as we continually strive to make SoldByMoms.com easier to use. We will change/create categories in response to your needs and feedback.

SoldByMoms.com does not facilitate the buying process. All sales are between the buyer and seller. Our hope is that each party will commit to the agreed terms. In this scenario, we suggest that you attempt to contact the seller again. If there has been no response to your follow-up email for a couple of days, then you may want to consider other offers and advise the initial buyer of your intent to do so.
No. This is at the seller’s discretion. If you are not comfortable with this arrangement, you could arrange to meet in a public place or have someone at your home with you when the buyer arrives.

If would be appropriate to respond to the other potential buyers to advise them that the item is sold pending pick up. Once the item is actually picked up and paid for, it is important to go back and edit the ad to indicate "Sold".

We encourage you to set reasonable prices as this is likely to get your items sold the quickest. If you are not getting any interested buyers, consider lowering your price.
